Escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech on this 2-day trek through southern Morocco. Cross the Atlas Mountains, visit a UNESCO-listed Kasbah, and ride a camel through the desert. Spend the night in the middle of the desert at a campsite in the dunes.
Spend two days exploring mountainous and desert landscapes, as well as traditional Moroccan towns and villages.
Day 1 :
Depart Marrakech at 7:30 am in a modern, air-conditioned minibus and head for the Atlas Mountains. Drive through the range, enjoying magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and snow-capped mountains. You will soon arrive at Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village that exemplifies traditional Moroccan terracotta architecture, 2 houres of visit and lunch.
Continue along the Draa Valley to reach the town of Zagora. Here you will meet your camels, who will take you on a 1 hour trek through the dunes. , you will have breathtaking views of the desert en route to your camp in the dunes.overnight in a berber tent private or normal with diner and show.
Day 2:
After a traditional Berber breakfast, another 1hour camel ride to get the best views of the changing colors of the sky. Return to Zagora by camel .
From Zagora, return to the Atlas Mountains by minivan, with plenty of stops for photos and lunch. You will arrive in Marrakech.
